Researching and Analysing Intelligence

When researching and analysing intelligence there are a number of point that you have to consider. The main priority is who has committed the crime whether it be an individual or a group. Then this will lead to further development of how the individual or group committed the crime. From the crime scene an estimation will be able to be made for when the the crime was committed, for example in the case of a murder scene a factor that could be used as an estimation when the person or people were killed is the blood as how wet or dry the blood is will be able to presume the time they were killed. Basic analysis from the crime scene depending on a numerous of factors such as how has the scene been left can give a small explanation to why the crime has been committed. However for further investigation in to why the suspect committed the crime who potentially be asked by the suspect, once the criminal has been took in to custody. 


The O.J. Simpson Case

Orenthal James Simpson was the primary suspect for the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. His potential 'motive' for murdering Nicole Brown Simpson was that she was his ex wife. As the murders were very personal and angry Simpson was suspected of murdering Nicole Simpson and Goldman as it was rumoured that they were dating. They had been divorced only two years since her murder. Simpson was known for battery towards Nicole Simpson during there time as a married couple and Nicole Simpson had phones emergency services numerous times due to the assault and battery from her husband O.J.Simpson. 

When investigation the murder scene the time of the murder was estimated by Nicole Simpsons Akita barking loudly which brought the suspicion on neighbours who were walking by. The time was able to be estimated around this time that Nicole Simpson and Ronald Goldman had been murdered as when officers arrived at the scene it was clear that the murder occurred recently. 

How Nicole Simpson and Ronald Goldman was clear by the slashes and stab wounds. This murder was overkill due to the amount of stab wounds found on the bodies. Particularly on Nicole Simpsons body there was defensive wounds on her right hand which show she tried to defend herself but was over powered by her killer. Report from the coroner show that Nicole Simpson was also took a blow the her head which would have knocker her unconscious. It was the slash to the throat that would have instantly killer her due to the amount of blood she had already lost through other stab wounds. Both victims had a significant and a horrific amount of slashes and stab wounds.
